Members join for a variety of reasons...mostly to network in their chapter and get to know other professionals. In reality they gain much more: life-long friendships, new perspectives that add value to their careers, confidence to build leadership skills.
As part of a national involvement, you have the opportunity to support:
First Amendment and Freedom of Information
Literacy (in cooperation with Laubach Literacy)
Gender equity in the communications workplace
Recognizing the accomplishments of women in communications
National also provides professional certification, awards and recognition, resources such as job board, leadership materials, and news across the chapters. You also have access to other professionals nationwide.
