The Association for Women in Communications is a professional organization that champions the advancement of women across all communications fields by recognizing excellence, promoting leadership and positioning its members at the forefront of the evolving communications era.

 

Visit A Meeting

Meet other women in communications and enjoy interesting speakers.  1st Tuesday of each month, except July.  Lunch is $15.00.  Networking at 11:30, lunch/program 12:00-1:00.

Student Scholarship

The Angela Gram Memorial Scholarship of $500.00 is awarded each year to a communications sophomore or junior at Drury University, Missouri State University, or SW Baptist University.  Learn more...

Student Support

The Springfield members support communication students in college AWC chapters through Scholarship, Shadowing, Mentoring, Program Exchange, and other activities.

National Involvement

Membership locally provides access to the National Association.  This includes networking at the national meeting, emails, and job board.  The members-only site gives access to a variety of resources.
