Each year members are invited to participate in a number of recognition opportunites, both locally and nationally.

Locally we recognize a member that has done exceptional work promoting AWC through the year.

Nationally, the Clarions award honors excellence in 132 categories across all communications disciplines, including advertising & marketing, audiovisual productions, books & CDs, brochures, custom & special publications, education, fund development, magazines, major news events, newsletters, newspapers, online media, photography, graphics & design communications, public relations, radio, and television.

In addition, the Matrix Foundation promotes the advancement of women by offering a professional certification program in all areas of communication. It also raises funds to send college students to the national convention to mingle with professional women.
